Impact Dance of Atlanta was founded in 1994 by Kari Carter and was established to provide the community with a high quality training facility where excellence is the goal and standards are not compromised.

Impact Dance and Performing Arts Center is dedicated to providing excellent technical instruction in a safe and family friendly environment. Dancers and families are not expected to compromise their moral values, nor are they expected to compromise their desire for excellence! Similar to why families often choose to send their children to a private school, many choose to dance at Impact because of the high standards, amazing staff and excellent education opportunities. We are a Christian organization who chooses to impacft lives, one dance at a time!

Impact Dance has a team of highly dedicated dance instructors who take their responsbilities very seriously.

We are here to assist people in pursuing their dreams and reaching their goals. We are proud to have numerous alumni performing and teaching dance professionally. Our students often receive scholarships and placements to national summer programs such as Point Park, School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Ballet Magnificat!, Ballet Austin, Camp Broadway and numerous others. With an impressive track record behind them, our instructors also equip our students to be very well received at local performing arts schools, such as Pebblebrook High School & Woodland High School, and universities such as Kennesaw State University.

Impact Dance is community driven.

We assist our students in taking an active role in the local community and schools. Impact Danceis a member of the Acworth Business Association (ABA), the Kennesaw Business Association (KBA), participates in Love The Lake Festivals, Shop With A Hero (The Joy Foundation), Fellowship of Christian Athletes programs, fundraising for Barber Middle School and Woodland High School, MUST Minitstries, Habitat For Humanity, and conducts on-site after school programs for North Cobb Christian School. Impact Dance pursues opportunities to expose our dancers to career opportunities in the performing arts. Impact Dance annually hosts the internationally renowned Ballet Magnificat! and attends events such as Project Dance Atlanta.

Impact Dance has something for almost everyone.

We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, musical theater, tumbling, contemporary, and ballroom! Classes are available for ages three through adult, beginner to advanced, and for those wanting to dance for recreation or to pursue a career.  One free trial class is always available.
